We’re very proud of Tesco Finest* Lemon Curd – and why wouldn’t we be? Not only was it a gold finalist in the Grocer’s Own Label Awards 2011 and a finalist in the Quality Food Awards 2011, but it also won two stars in the Great Taste Awards 2010. No wonder it was described by The Sunday Telegraph as one of the very best lemon products.
If you’re already a fan of this famously good curd, you might like to know that it’s being joined by two new products that we’re equally proud of: Tesco Finest* Orange Curd and Tesco Finest* Lime Curd.
What’s so special about them? Well, the juice of oranges from Florida,, combined with British free-range eggs and British butter, give our orange curd a fantastically juicy flavour. Try adding it to cream for the filling of a deliciously different pavlova or Victoria sponge.
Tesco Finest* Lime Curd is made with the juice of tangy Key limes. Try it spread on crusty bread, or use it for a zesty Key lime pie or lime curd cheesecake.
Our curds are made in small quantities, to ensure they taste just as good as homemade – and each one comes with a recipe idea to help you show them off to their very best.
