Cut the bread into 2.5cm (1in) square pieces. Heat the oil in a flat bottomed pan and add the cumin seeds. Once they start turning brown, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Toss in the green chilli pieces, parboiled vegetables and add the turmeric powder. Now add the cut bread pieces and sprinkle the chilli powder and salt evenly.
Toss the contents in the pan and sprinkle little water and allow it to cook on medium flame for about 5-6 minutes, until the bread pieces become golden and crusty. Put off the flame, add the fresh lemon juice and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
