I develope this cake recipe because I like chocolate and I also like carrot cake.
Grease and line a 6 in. round cake tin. Whisk egg and sugar together till light and fluffy. Add in oil and melted chocolate. Mix well. Mix in carrots and all the dried ingredients. Mix well.
Transfer the cake mixture into the prepared cake tin. Bake in the centre of the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180C/350F/ Gas mark4. Cool on a wire rack.
To decorate: cream the cream cheese, lemon juice and icing sugar together. Spread the cream on top of the cool down cake. Decorate with chocolate shapes and grated carrots.
Marzipan shaped can also be used for decorating the cake.
