melt butter, syrup and chopped mars bars on a low heat in a pan
add in rice krispies a few at a time to ensure they are evenly coated & moist
transfer the mix into a square baking tin - approx 10inx7inch, lined with tin foil. Place into fridge for a couple of hrs to set or into freezer for speedy version for 30mins
melt the chocolate for topping in microwave bit by bit - don‘t burn. Drip over the set mixture and chill in fridge for at least 30mins. Cut into at least 16 pieces and serve - be quick it doesn‘t last long and is very more-ish!
chop mars bars to a smallish size to help them melt evenly with butter and syrup, keep mixture moving & don‘t let the butter burn
use good quality foil to lin tin & even better quality choc for topping
store in fridge if it lasts that long!
