Cherry clafoutis

Ingredients

  • 20g (¾oz) butter
  • 500g (1lb) cherries, stalks removed
  • 25g (1oz) plain flour
  • 25g (1oz) caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 350ml (12fl oz) milk

Each serving contains 265 calories, 24g sugar, 13g fat, 6g saturates and 0.3g salt.

Method

Heat oven to Gas 4, 180°C, 350°F. Butter a shallow baking dish and add the cherries.

In a blender, mix the flour, caster sugar, eggs and milk until smooth and creamy.

Pour over the cherries and bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.

Leave to cool a little and then dust lightly with sugar, if wished.
