Petit pois with spinach and shallots

  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 4 shallots, peeled and finely diced
  • 500g (1lb) frozen petit pois
  • 100g (3┬Żoz) young leaf spinach

Each serving contains 65 calories, 3g sugar, 3g fat, 1g saturates and 0.5g salt.


Heat the oil in shallow pan and fry the shallots gently for 5 minutes until tender.

Boil the petit pois for 2 minutes in boiling water, then drain and place in the pan with the shallots.

Add the spinach and toss together until the leaves have just wilted.
