Purple sprouting broccoli with red pepper and chilli
Ingredients
- 750g (1½lb) purple sprouting broccoli
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and finely sliced
- 1tbsp olive oil
Each serving contains 70 calories, 3g sugar, 3g fat, 0.5g saturates and 0g salt.
Method
Cook the broccoli in a pan of boiling water for 3-4 minutes then drain well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the red pepper for 2-3 minutes until just tender, add a pinch of dried chillies, fry for a few seconds then tip in the broccoli and toss well.
