Jamie Oliver is a global phenomenon in food and campaigning. During a 25-year television and publishing career he has sold over 50 million books, and his TV series are watched by millions around the world. His mission to create a happier, healthier world through the joy of food is at the heart of everything he does.

Tesco’s partnership with Jamie Oliver

Jamie has been working with Tesco since 2018 to create delicious and nutritious, budget-friendly recipes for the whole family to enjoy. His meals champion fresh ingredients, encouraging customers to eat well using seasonal produce. By sharing his favourite tips and hacks, he hopes to help customers save money and reduce their food waste. Many of Jamie’s recipes are Tesco Better Baskets approved, which means they’re seasonal, high-fibre, well balanced meals. Find all the recipes created with Jamie Oliver here.

The Tesco partnership with Jamie Oliver was created after a survey of 2,000 people revealed that seven out of 10 families wanted supermarkets to help them lead healthier lives and make healthy choices more affordable. Since then, Tesco and Jamie have been working together to help provide Tesco customers with the tools to create great-value, healthier meals from scratch and celebrate fresh, tasty food every day of the week.

In 2023 we co-created the Channel 4 series Jamie’s 5 Ingredient Meals to help the nation make the most of their storecupboard while shortening their shopping lists. Jamie invited guest chefs on each episode to share their favourite five-ingredient recipes, giving people delicious inspiration using ingredients available at Tesco.

From family-friendly midweek meals to weekend feasts, all the Jamie Oliver recipes featured in Tesco magazine and on Tesco Real Food are developed in partnership with Jamie Oliver and his team.
