Can you believe it’s been over two months since the Queen’s Jubilee (and our last Bank Holiday weekend)?
Time certainly flies! So when there’s a long weekend, we need to make the most of it by getting together with friends and family and enjoying delicious food.
Whether you’re inside or outside, we’ve got a great selection of tasty recipes that will please everyone, whatever the weather.
For some sunshine flavours, try these tasty Jerk Chicken Drumsticks with Fragrant Coconut Rice, which are best served with a cocktail (with or without alcohol) made with lovely warm tropical fruit flavours, like pineapple and mango.
If you’re planning on having a get-together to celebrate that extra day off, try some scrummy seasonal party food, like this Roasted Pepper and Walnut Dip or Blue Cheese and Chive Dip, which you can serve with pitta and a veggie platter of carrots, celery, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and peppers.
And no Bank Holiday weekend would be complete without a sweet indulgent treat for afters. We love this rich and fruity Chocolate and Raspberry Roulade, which is a surefire crowd pleaser and takes less than an hour to make!
