We hope you had a very Merry Christmas and are looking forward to an even better New Year! If you’re already busy thinking about all your resolutions then let us help you have one more big bash before you hit the gym/give up chocolate/drink vegetable smoothies in January!
If you’re the New Year host then you’ll want to make things as easy as possible so you can enjoy the night with your guests. Canapes are the easiest way to ensure everyone has something to munch on. Make up plates of Crab and Avocado Toasts, Smoked Salmon Blinis, Cranberry and Goat’s Cheese Bruschetta and Crispy Pitta Triangles for people to nibble on whilst they chat and mingle. When the plates are empty (and they will be!) whisk them away and replace them with little plates of a Macaroons for ‘pudding’.
Have plenty of Champagne on ice for when the clock strikes twelve but before that make up jugs of Mojitos and prep some glasses with mint and straws in beforehand. For those that want something sparkly you can’t go wrong with a Royale Fizz and for those that don’t want to drink jugs of Black Forest Fizz will go down brilliantly.
If you’re going to a fabulous New Year’s party don’t forget to take a gift – we love beautiful little boxes of Salted Caramel Truffles.
All together now, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
