Now that Christmas is over, everyone is looking forward to celebrating New Year's Eve in style.
Traditionally a time spent in the company of family and friends, the idea of celebrating a "new year" can be traced back to ancient Babylon when citizens would celebrate the first new moon of the year over 11 days.
Whether you're making resolutions this year or just trying to remember the words to Auld Lang Syne we have some delicious treats for the perfect New Year's party.
If you're having a sit down dinner party then our Ginger and Lime Smoked Salmon with Avocado is a show stopping starter and a delicious way to begin a meal. Pork is traditionally eaten in many countries on New Year's Eve as it symbolises progress for the coming year. Our Roast Pork with Roasted Apples, is perfect served with Novelli Orange Braised Red Cabbage.
Pudding should be something decadent. And what's more luxurious than Sticky Toffee Pudding with lashings of cream?
If you fancy doing a more relaxed party with cocktails and canapés then our Figs and Soft Cheese in Parma Ham are elegant and very simple, allowing you more time with your guests. Paper Wrapped Quiches and Crispy Pitta Triangles with Houmous will appeal to everyone and are delicious as well as easy! To finish serve our Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting for those with a sweet tooth.
Along with the obligatory champagne, serve up Mojitos and Navy Seal's for a bit of old school glamour at midnight.
Happy New Year!
