Spring has sprung!

Here at Real Food we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the change in the weather over the past few days. Okay so we’ve just seen the sun for the first time in a while but that’s enough to make us dig out our pastel jeans and whip out the sunglasses. It’s also made us crave spring flavours and look forward to al fresco eating.

If you’re in a similar mood a spring inspired Sunday lunch is perfect. Start with Spring Vegetable Soup – it’s full of fresh flavours and is delicious served simply as an easy starter.

Make chicken your centerpiece. We love it with a tandoori twist for an Indian inspired main. Serve it simply with a carrot and chickpea salad.

If you’ve got room (we certainly would have!) finish off with Bakewell tart with Rhubarb. Rhubarb has such a short season it’s worth making the most of it when you can and this tart is a nice change from the traditional crumble.
