There is often nothing more relaxing than a glass of wine at the end of the working day. Whether you prefer a crisp Pinot Grigio or plump for a full bodied Malbec, settling onto the sofa or standing at the kitchen counter with a glass of the good stuff is something many of us enjoy.

It can also be fun to pair your food choices with certain grape varieties. Pair crisp white wines with lighter chicken and fish dishes or dishes that come with a creamy sauce. Pair a Chardonnay with Sea Bass en Papillote or serve up with Chicken in Creamy Mushroom Sauce.

Red meat and more robust tomato based sauces work best with red wine. A spicy Rioja will complement gamier meat dishes like Duck Cassoulet perfectly. A lighter Pinot Noir marries nicely with less heavy dishes like Beef Carpaccio.
