Small, round buttery white nuts, rich in oil, Macadamias are great eaten on their own, chopped and used in cookies and cakes. Try list delicious brownie recipe for a great way of incorporating them in to your cooking. Native to the woodlands of Australia and some times called Queensland Nuts, they have an extremely hard shell, which is difficult to crack. They are available raw or roasted and salted, or covered in chocolate. Store in a cool dry place, and once opened store in an airtight container consume within seven days.
