There is an art to making great crisps, and it all begins with the perfect potato. For our Finest Hand Cooked Crisps range we have carefully selected three British varieties - Lady Claire, Hermes and pink-cheeked Lady Rossetta. These special spuds have all been picked for their great crisping up qualities, and are delivered by Dever Valley Produce fresh from the farm each day.
The potatoes are hand fried in small batches at low temperatures for optimum crunch. These are then seasoned while they are still warm in order to impart the best flavour. And this whole process takes less than 20 minutes, so the crisps in the bag are as fresh and flavoursome as possible.
Finest Hand Cooked crisps contain no artificial flavours, colours or MSG and are fried in high oleic sunflower oil, which is naturally higher in monounsaturated fatty acids (which are better for you than saturated fat). The flavours are inspired by the best British ingredients, such as Devonshire Cheddar, West Country Vinegar and Cumberland ham.
