Porridge a la Claris Lombart recipe

Place the porridge in a small saucepan along with the water; heat for two minutes, then add some of the milk, and all other ingredients and stir from time to time; keep adding the rest of the milk and let the porridge become a bit thick in consistency, then remove from fire and eat when cooler!

The consistency as you cook it must be nice and thick and also liquidy - i.e no extreme

  • 1tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 2 crushed cardomum pods
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 1tbsp full sultanas/raisins
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
