I'm American and this is my personal version of an All-American classic.
Mix all the ingredients together and place in a bread pan or mound in a casserole dish. Top with extra tomato sauce or passatta.
Bake for 45-60 minutes in an oven at 200°C.
Cover with foil if you don't want crispy or bake for only 45-50 minutes. 60 minutes uncovered will give you a nicely crispy top.
If you check the inside, it may look red because of the tomato sauce. However, the meat should be grey/brownish to be fully cooked.
Serve hot with gravy and mashed potatoes.
