Try spicing up a regular banana smoothie with this recipe from Andy McLeish. It makes for a delicious breakfast dish, but can equally be served up at any other time of day.
Begin by peeling and chopping the banana. Then place it in a blender with the spices and a dash of lemon juice.
Next add the milk, frozen yogurt (or ice cream) and honey to the blender. Blend until you have a smooth mixture
Divide the smoothie into glasses and refrigerate. Before serving, sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg over the smoothie and place a straw in each glass.
