Apple and custard Bread pudding recipe

I Needed a dessert QUICK, these were the ingredients I had to hand and the result was so good it has become a family favourite.

Peel and core the apples, slice thinly and cook in microwave for 4 to 5 mins until soft and fluffy.

Layer the apple and Fruit loaf in an oven proof dish, making sure you finish with a layer of bread.

Pour over the custard and cook at 200 degrees for 20 to 25 mins depending on oven

You can add raisins and grate nutmeg on the top to make this even tastier.
