Preheat oven to Gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.
Peel the potatoes.
Place potatoes in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
Drain potatoes and mash with 1 tsp butter and enough milk to reach your desired consistency.
Place the cod on a piece of foil, season with salt and pepper. Add a knob of butter and squeeze some lemon juice on top. Fold foil into a loose parcel and place in the oven on a tray to bake for 20minutes.
Bring a small pan of water to the boil. Carefully place in the asparagus spears and boil for 2-3 minutes then drain.
Plate up and eat up!
