Cut the potatoes in a thin straight cut and fry them. Cut the onions in slices and put them in a pan with olive oil and cook them until they look fried.
Add the cod fish and mix with the onions. Let it fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionaly.
Place the mix on an oven tray and cover with the cream.
Then place it in a pre-heated oven at maximum temperature to let it get crusty.
Take it out and serve straight away.
Put cod fish in water from previous day, changing the water a couple times so the cod is not salty. The thinner the chips the better.
