Bacon and mushroom pasta recipe

Streaky bacon works better than any other bacon cuts as it isn't as salty tasting.

Cut the bacon into bite sized pieces and fry.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the bacon and allow to soak up all bacon fats and juice.

Meanwhile in add pasta to a large pan of boiling water. When pasta is cooked drain well. Then add half a jar of sun-dried tomato pesto and 300g of creme fraiche to the pasta.

Mix the bacon and mushrooms into the pasta and serve.

Serve hot or cold with side salad.
