I choose bacon because the whole family loves bacon. We experimented with additional toppings: apple, nutmeg, strawbeery syrup and mint sauce but voted the bacon only was our favourite
Put the milk, cream and suger into a bowl, mix until sugar is dissolved.
Add egg yolks and whisk until combined.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and continually whisk on low heat until mixture has thickened.
Leave to cool.
Place bacon rasher onto grill tray and cover with maple syrup, grill bacon until crispy.
Chop bacon into tiny pieces and add to mixture, stir and place in freezer.
Keep whisking while cooking mixture in saucepan so mixture does not split.
