Cook 400g Everyday Value Penne Pasta as instructed on the pack. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Slice 1 pack Everyday Value thick cut unsmoked bacon and add to the pan with 200g sliced Everyday Value mushrooms. Cook for 5 – 8 minutes or until the mushrooms are softened and the bacon beginning to crisp.
Drain the pasta reserving a little of the cooking water. Turn the heat down and add pasta, about 1tbsp of the cooking water and 4 tbsp Tesco Green Pesto to the bacon and mushrooms. Stir together well and warm briefly before serving.
