A simple way to make brussel sprouts taste that bit nicer!
Prepare the sprouts, and cook them in salted boiling water for 5-8 minutes. The drain the sprouts.
Chop the bacon into 5mm strips and fry in a pan until the fat starts to render out and then add the garlic. Fry for a couple of minutes until the garlic softens slightly.
Add the sprouts to the bacon and stir fry for 3- 4 minutes and then season with cracked black pepper and nutmeg.
