Baked eggs in crispy salami shells recipe

Preheat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas 6. Grease four ovenproof ramekins/muffin cups with vegetable oil.

Arrange the salami slices around the inside of your ramekins so that they overlap and form a neat little cup. Crack an egg into each of your salami cups and season with a little salt and pepper.

Blob some small teaspoons of crème fraiche around your eggs (about 2 teaspoons per cup). Sprinkle over the cheddar cheese and any fresh herbs you prefer.

Pop into oven for around 20 minutes, or until the eggs are soft baked.

Tip: Depending on the size of your ramekin/cup you may be able to fit two eggs in for double the indulgence.
