Baked papaya with sugar and fat free yoghurt recipe

We #TriedForFree papaya as part of the Orchard scheme.I wanted a simple recipe that would let me try papaya but with something sweet just in case. This simple recipe made me think that maybe there is more to fruit than apples and bananas!

Heat up the oven to 180C

Half the papaya and remove the seeds. Apparently the seeds are edible but peppery so I removed them. Place it on a baking tray.

Melt the butter in a pan with the sugar stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Then add the lemon juice.

Pour the melted butter over the papaya.

Bake for 10 minutes and serve with the yoghurt on the side.

You can use honey instead of sugar if you prefer more natural sweetness, I prefer sugar myself.
