I got the recipe from my mum, which she got from her sister. I love this with some butter spread on it. It takes me back to when I was a kid, lovely Irish food.
Soak the fruit in tea overnight.
Mix the fruit, sugar and flour, add a beaten egg and a little milk if too stiff.
Turn into a greased loaf tin and bake for about an hour on gas mark 5/190⁰c.
