I love making jam tarts with the kids because it is so easy.
Roll out pastry to 1/2 cm. thickness. Use a fluted pastry cutter (8cm diameter) and cut out 12 rounds.
Use the pastry to line 12 hole patty tin. Place a teaspoon of blackcurrent jam in ecah tart.
Bake in the centre of the oven 220C /425F/ Gas mark 7 for 15 minutes.
Remove from the over and cool on a wire rack
Do not over filled the tart with jam.
