Have made it for years. Lovely and east stodgy meal for cold nights
fry all ingredients etc stock until onions softened and mince browned
add stock, bring to boil and simmer
meanwhile butter bread both sides and line casserole dish with buttered bread
fill bread case with mince (reserve and extra juice for gravy) and top with more bread, heat in hot oven for 15-20 mins
serve with gravy and green beans . mmmmmm
