The children really love ththis recipe. Banoffe pies with chocolate balls are a real treat for them.
To make the base: place the biscuits and Maltesers in a plastic bag. Use a rolling pin and crush to fine crumbs.
Add the crumbs to the butter and mix well.
Divide and pressed the mixture into 2 loose based, fluted tart tin. ( 10cm in Diameter). Leave to set for 20 minute in the fridge.
To serve: remove the pies from the tins. Spoon the caramel into the biscuit cases. Place the freshly sliced banana on top. Decorate with piped whipped cream and Maltesr balls.
Chocolate flakes can be used instead for decorations.
