Grate cored apples on a coarse grater into a bowl, break in two eggs and add porridge oats, cinnamon, chilli, chopped mint leaves, chopped rose petals (cut off white petal parts), sugar (optional), mix well leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and once hot add a spoonful of the mixture into the oil. Flatten with the back of spoon and shape into a burger. Fry gently and flip over once golden. If the mixture appears too runny, add more porridge oats.
Tip: Make sure you cut off the narrow part of rose petal which is the white or yellowish bit coming from the flower. The rose petals are optional - other flowers you can use are petals of calendula, nastartium, pelargonia.
