I get lots of gooseberry from my garden every year. They make lovely delicious jam. I give my jam to friends and relatives as presents.
Top and tail and wash the gooseberries. Put them in a pan with the water and boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add in the sugar and stir all the time till the sugar dissolved.
Add in the orange juice. Boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
Stir in the Brandy. Pot and cover.Yield 4 Kg of jam.
