Preheat oven to 200c
Place sprouts into saucepan of simmering salted water and cook for 4-5mins, until almost, but not quite cooked. Drain thoroughly, allow to cool slightly. Cut in half
Place the butter into a frying pan over a medium heat. Add bacon lardons and almonds, saute for 3-4mins, until lightly browned.
Add the sprouts and saute for a further 2-3mins, stiring constantly.
Add the cream and bring to the boil. Boil for 2-4mins, until the cream has reduced to a rich sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Remove from the heat, add the lemon juice and put into an ovenproof dish.
Mix the breadcrumbs and parmesan together and sprinkle evenly
Bake in the oven for 18-20 mins, until the top is golden brown and the cream is visibly boiling.
