I had the opportunity to try Tescos Finest Butlers Farmhouse Creamy Lancashire for less as a part of their Orchard Club. This recipe was inspired by 'The Staff Canteen' website.
Place the cream and milk together in a small pan. Bring to the boil.
Whisk the egg yolks and caster sugar together.
Combine appproximately one-third of the cream/milk mixture with the egg yolks and caster sugar. Then add the remainder of the milk and cream.
Seive and then let the mixture cool a little.
Blend the warm mixture with the cheeses
Churn in an ice cream maker and freeze
