Macaroni Cheese Lpk

Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/350°F/gas 4. 

Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the penne according to the pack instructions. Meanwhile, melt the Lurpak butter in a saucepan over a gentle heat. Stir in the flour to form a paste and then cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the milk and whisk continuously until the sauce starts to boil. Turn down and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the mustard and 90g of grated cheese, season with salt and pepper, then stir for about 1-2 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Drain the cooked pasta and stir in the cheese sauce.

Transfer into the Lurpak oven dish and top with the remaining cheese. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden on top and bubbling. Serve with a green salad or steamed vegetables.
