Mix the 400 grams of sugar into the margarine.
Add the eggs one by one while mixing.
Add the sieved self raising flour.
Add 1 tsp of bicarbonate of soda into the mixer.
Melt 150 grams of sugar until caramelised.
Spread the melted sugar around the cake pan.
Slice the bananas then place them on top of the caramelised sugar around the cake pan.
Then add the mix into the cake pan
Place the cake pan into the pre-heated oven at 200 degrees.
After the cake has been in the over for 10 mins reduce the temperature to 180 degrees
Then let it cook for 50 mins.
