Sweet honey and bitter Angostura add intricate flavour to this sophisticated cocktail that's sure to impress your party guests. You can even make this cocktail a day ahead and chill it overnight so that the flavours can develop.
In a large lidded jug or bottle, combine the bourbon, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, black peppercorns, fennel seeds, sliced fresh ginger, clear honey and 12 drops of Angostura bitters.
Put the lid on and shake well; chill until ready to serve.
Strain the drink into tumblers filled with ice. Top up with a splash of cold water, if desired, and add a cinnamon stick for stirring.
