These pastry parcels and ideal for parties and picnics
Mix cheese, ham and basil together in a large bowl.
Roll out pastry into 1/2 cm thickness. Cut the pastry into 16 squares. Place a tablespoon of the cheese filling on eight of the squares. Brush the edges with water. Place the other pastry squares on top and seal the edges.
Arrange the parcels on a baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg. Make a cut on each parcel. Bake in the oven 220C/ gas 7 for 25 minutes.
