I eat gluten free so I have made a gf version of this dish.
Remove the stones from the cherries and half. Put in a small oven dish and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of sugar
Rub in the flour and butter. Add ground almonds, flaked almonds and sugar
Sprinkle on top of the cherries and bake until golden
You can substitute the plain flour for gluten free to make it gluten free
