I got cherries for free with the Orchard programme and made a Clafoutis for pudding with a few of them as I had some left over Yorkshire pudding mix. It was just fabulous. Rich, vanillery and sweet with luscious juicy cherries, all smothered in fresh cream. #trieditfree
Whisk the eggs, flour, milk and sugar together until smooth and lump free.
Butter 8 ramekins and line with the cherries.
Divide the batter between the ramekins
Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for about 20 minutes until set.
Try to leave some fruit visible when pouring in the batter. Serve with cream or ice cream.
