This is a very easy way of making a cherry pie. All my family love this pie.
Divide the pastry into two pieces. Roll out pastry to line a 23cm pie plate.
Spread the fruit filing onto the pastry plate. Roll out the other half of the pastry. Cover the the pie. Seal the edges. Cut a vent on the top of the pie.
Bake in the oven at Gas 6/200C/400F for 30 minutes till the pie is golden brown. Leave to cool. Delicious with custard.
