Melt the butter in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and add the flour. Return and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes
Remove from the heat and add the milk. Return and cook until almost boiling
Add the puree, salad cream, tabasco sauce and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Add the chopped onion.
Pour over the cooked chicken and serve hot
This sauce can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month
