Chicken Macaroni Pasta recipe

Put the chicken into a pan, season well. Cover with boiling water and simmer for 30 mins.
Put another pan of water on to boil with 1/2tsp salt. Add both the pasta varieties and cook for 10 mins.
Heat 2tbsp olive oil in a frying pan, add the onions and cook for 5minutes, then add the chilllies and tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
Drain the pasta and mix with 2tbsp olive oil.
Add 1/2 tsp salt, mustard powder and chilli flakes to the frying pan.
Add the sweet and sour sauce and cucumber and simmer for 5 mins. Stir in the guacamole, if using with the drained boiled chicken and cabbage.
Mix everything together to serve.

Don't mix chicken and pasta whilst boiling them, and also, do not put in the puree first, followed by the cabbage and then the chicken, it does not mix properly!

Your preparation will be ready by the time the pasta and chicken are both boiling

  • 500g jar - sweet and sour sauce
  • 150g (6oz) - cucumber, diced
  • 250g (9oz) - cabbage, shredded
