Chicken with sesame seeds and peppers recipe

Heat half of the groundnut oil in a large wok over a high heat until hot. Stir-fry the whole and sliced garlic for 30 seconds, then add half of the diced chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through, with no pink showing. Remove from the heat and season with half the soy sauce.

Stir through the sesame seeds and keep warm in a serving bowl to one side covered with aluminium foil.

Heat the rest of the groundnut oil in a clean wok over a high heat until hot. Add the rest of the chicken and stir-fry for 1 minute, then add the peppers and continue to stir-fry everything for 4-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through, with no pink showing. Remove from the heat and season with the soy sauce.

Garnish the chicken with sesame seeds and the chopped chives.

Spoon the chicken with peppers into a serving bowl and serve alongside the chicken with sesame seeds.
