Chilli Con Carne recipe

I like to make chilli for parties becasue it is so easy to make and taste good.

Heat olive oil in a large pan. Sweat onion and garlic for 2 minutes.

Add in the minced beef, chilli powder and fry for 3-4 minutes.

Add in pepper, kidney beans, chopped tomatoes and oregano.

Add 100 ml water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes till the meat is tender. Season to taste. Serve with jacket potatoes and a fresh salad.

Red wine can be added to add extra flavour.
