Large pan needed with ¾ litre to 1 litre water and salt and 1tbsp soy sauce.
Chop cabbage + onion roughly, not fine and put in pan. Grate carrot and add to pan. Pull mince into bits and add to pan, simmer for about 20 mins but do not overcook.
Add the dry contents of the chicken noodle soup, add 1tbsp of curry powder and mix well. Simmer very gently for about 10 mins till cooked.
Do not chop vegetables too finely it makes finished meal too mushy. Only add more water if drying out, should be moist but no surplus liquid.
Can add extra ingrediants if wish - tomatoes, celery, chutney.
Do not overcook makes mushy, dish can be prepared in advance and heated when guests arrive. Ideal served with nice bread as a supper.
