This was a favourite when my children were growing up. Could be made in minutes and eaten hot or cold.
grease 8inch tin or ovenproof dish.
Put flour, 7tablespoons drinking chocolate,1tablespoon sugar, margarine,baking powder, 150ml water and eggs into bowl and mix well together.
Put in tin or ovenproof dish and
sprinkle remaining sugar and drinking chocolate over mix and gently pour over rest of water.
bake in centre of oven at gas mark 3 for about 1hour until firm and springy to touch.
Allow to cool slightly(5mins) and turn out onto srving dish.
the chocolate, sugar and water that is sprinkled over the cake mix makes the fudgey sauce.
You can add dried fruit and/or nuts to this recipe.
