Heat oven to 190C and line a muffin tin with paper cases. Usually makes around 12.
Whisk the butter with 125g of the sugar.
Whisk the eggs and stir into the mixture.
Sift the flour and 15g of cocoa and fold into the mixture.
Put a teaspoon of mixture into each case. Place a piece of chocolate in each one and then divide the mixture between the cases to cover the chocolate. Bake for approx. 20 minutes and leave to cool.
For the topping- make chocolate buttercream by mixing the icing sugar, 75g butter, milk, vanilla and rest of the cocoa. Keep adding cocoa until the buttercream tastes chocolatey.
Pipe or spoon onto the cupcakes and sprinkle fudge pieces on top.
