Hull and wash the strawberries.
Allow the strawberries to dry.
Put the chocolate in a dish over boiling water and melt it.
While it is melting cover a baking try with baking parchment.
Using a toothpick at the hull end pick up each strawberry and dip it in the chocolate.
Space the dipped strawberries out on the prepared tray.
Chill in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set but allow to come to room temperature for serving.
If possible use PYO strawberries - they often have varieties which have superb flavour but don't pack well for supermarkets.
You can vary the colour of the chocolate or use a different colour of chocolate to decorate them.
